A better alternative for all round development of Bayelsa
                State
The PEAP (People, Education, Agriculture, Power) Agenda is a
well-articulated list or outline of things to be done to enable us
take Bayelsa state from its current state to a more virile and
              productive state.
The Agenda outlines a deliberate course of action that is tailored as follows:
The First "P"
              represents THE PEOPLE
This is a deliberate policy of engaging the people and making them
part of governance. The People will participate in the government
and would be inclusive in the decision making and running of the
government. The Engagement of people will bring Renewed Health
Care, Housing, Welfare, Water and Sanitation.

              The “E” represents EDUCATION -
A deliberate effort that will see to upgrading of all our
              educational Policies and Facilities including
              Infrastructure.  Intensification of Skills Acquisition,
Digital Education, ICT Revolution, and Human Capacity Development.
Scholarships would be readily available for Bayelsans to Study
both within and outside the state and would be made to mandatory
serve the state and contribute their quota to its development
              after their training and Study.

              The “A” represents AGRICULTURE
              - A deliberate effort that will rejuvenate homegrown agriculture
first to ensure that there is food sufficiency in Bayelsa as we
begin to produce more than 50% of our food and embrace commercial
Agriculture where we begin to use our produce as raw materials for
the production of essentials like Sugar, Rice, and other foods
that we can export for financial gains for both the state and its
citizens. We shall set up a food processing facility at the
Bayelsa Airport to complement food processing and preservation to
enhance our Agricultural products and food export.

The Last “P” represents POWER -
A deliberate policy that will ensure that enough Power is Provided
for Bayelsans by acquiring off-the-shelf power turbines already
available in advanced countries. The exploration of the abundant
gas being flared, will be piped to power Industrial Hubs and areas
will attract investors and industrialization to Bayelsa. Bayelsa
State will be actively involved in the Oil and Gas Sector as we
will revive, strengthen, and get Bayelsa Oil Company that has been
non-operational back on track. This will stimulate the oil and Gas
activities in the state and would naturally lead to the provision
of Jobs and employment for the youths in Bayelsa.
